How MM to PX for Procreate Works
Enter the print size
Type the physical dimensions in millimeters — for example, 210 × 297 mm for an A4 canvas.
Set the canvas DPI
Choose the DPI for your Procreate canvas — 300 for print quality, 150 for moderate detail.
Create the canvas
Use the resulting pixel dimensions when creating a new custom canvas in Procreate.
Procreate creates raster canvases with a specific pixel size and DPI. To achieve a print-quality result at a given physical size, you need to calculate the pixel dimensions before creating the canvas. A higher DPI produces more pixels (and more detail) for the same physical size, but also uses more memory and limits the number of available layers.
