How MM to PX for Photoshop Works

Type the physical width and height of your print document in millimeters.
Set the PPI
Choose the resolution you plan to use in Photoshop — 300 PPI for print, 72 PPI for screen.

Photoshop ties pixel dimensions directly to PPI (pixels per inch). When you create a new document at 300 PPI, each inch of the print layout maps to 300 pixels. Because there are 25.4 mm in an inch, dividing PPI by 25.4 gives you the pixel density per millimeter. Multiply that by your millimeter measurement to get the Photoshop canvas size.
MM to PX for Photoshop Formula
px = mm × (PPI ÷ 25.4) Conversion Formula PPI is the resolution you set in Photoshop's Image Size or New Document dialog. The constant 25.4 converts inches to millimeters. At 300 PPI, every millimeter equals approximately 11.811 pixels.
