How MM to PX for Illustrator Works
Enter the artboard size
Type your artboard's width and height in millimeters as shown in Illustrator's document setup.
Choose the export PPI
Select 72 PPI for screen work (1 pt = 1 px) or a higher value like 150/300 for raster export.
Get the pixel dimensions
The result shows the raster size your artwork will export to at the chosen resolution.
Illustrator is a vector tool, so its internal coordinates use points (1 pt = 1/72 in). When you export to a raster format, the PPI setting determines how many pixels each inch of the artboard produces. At the default 72 PPI, one point maps to exactly one pixel. Increase the PPI for higher-resolution raster exports while keeping the same physical artboard dimensions.
